Having the opportunity to meet and work with many different people from all walks of life, all with their own unique beauty is what makes my job of being a hair and make-up artist so interesting. From working on a detailed close in beauty shoot to a portrait of an interesting face full of character, from a stylised fashion shoot to a natural lifestyle shoot, each offers their own different challenges. It is these tests that make each project I am involved in as gratifying as the last.
I am passionate about my job and enjoy working as part of a team to create a finished result to be proud of. I feel I have an eye for detail and enjoy the creativity of working to and evolving an initial idea or brief.
I have been working as a make–up artist since 2001 within the areas of still photography and TV advertising commercials. I have been fortunate enough to work with some talented commercial photographers and have therefore had the opportunity to work on many major advertising campaigns including GHD, Wella, Babyliss, Bravissimo, Boots, Marks and Spencers, Store 21, HSBC, Speedo, Regatta, Pour Moi Lingerie and Frontcover Cosmetics beauty packaging shots.
